Beauty Tips

Tip #1:

ALWAYS wear primer. Primer helps blur out any fine lines and imperfections that might make your skin uneven. If you have deep pores, primer also helps you cover them up. Primer gives you a smooth canvas to put foundation and concealer on which is why it is so important.

Tip #2:

Depending on your skin type, consider choosing a primer that suits your needs. There are primers that mattify your skin and there are also primers that make your skin look dewy and glowy.

Tip #3:

Always make sure that your foundation undertone matches your skin tone. Our skin color changes with the seasons, so it is always useful to have different foundation shades to use throughout the year. For instance, your winter shade might be a shade lighter than your summer shade since you do not have a tan during the colder months. Using a foundation that is too light or too dark can ruin an entire makeup look.

Tip #4:

When blending out your foundation, make sure to blend it all the way down to your neck. Although it seems wasteful, using foundation on your neck will make your foundation look so much more natural and smooth.

Tip #5:

Use a concealer that is one or two shades lighter than your skin tone. Anything lighter than that will be really difficult to blend out and can even give you a weird white line under your eyes. Be sure to blend the concealer in a triangle shape to achieve a highlighted look that brings your face forward without casting a white line.
